1. Our venue is:

Parking is free.
2.When do we meet?
Every month with the exception of December. Check our up-to-date programme of when our next meeting is. It is often the last Monday of the month, or Tuesday if the Monday is a bank holiday. However, for lectures - days may vary as we often have to try coincide with their tour.
All meetings doors open 7.00pm and the evening starts 7.30pm
Our library has around 300 books and magazines for members only. All books that are borrowed must be returned at the following meeting. There is a £1.00 fine per book, per month, on all overdue books. The library is housed at our librarian’s home. Members wishing to loan a book should contact him. a) One off joining fee is £50.00.
b) former members of less than 5 years rejoin fee is £10.00 plus annual fee.
c) former members who have not been a member for 5 years or longer, the £50.00 joining fee applies plus the annual membership.
d) the annual membership is £70.00.
e) to attend an evening as a non-member is £15.00. If the visitor is a member of another magic club then it's £10.00.

Our term runs 12 months from the annual AGM in April to the last event before the following AGM where the new subs will be due. The subs do not include the annual dinner.
7. The Council:
The council are nominated and elected every year at the club’s Annual General Meeting in April, the AGM, which is the start of our new term. This usually takes place on the last Monday of April but may change due to coincide with our guest lectures.
Council members maybe replaced midterm if they are often unable to attend council meetings & NMC events/evenings.
The council is made up of the President, Secretary, Treasurer, Librarian, Welfare Officer and two other council members. The council have the right to make any decision and act on any issue that they believe is in the best interests in the club.
To be eligible to join the council, nominated members must be a current member of the NMC for a minimum of one full year and have a credible record of attendance.
To be eligible for the roles of Secretary & Treasurer, the nominated members must be a current member for a minimum of 3 full years and hold a credible record of attendance.
To be eligible for the President's role, the nominated members must be a current member of a minimum of 5 full years with an excellent attendance.
