THE NEWCASTLE MAGIC CIRCLE'S
GUIDE TO
SOUTH TYNESIDES INTERNATIONAL MAGIC FESTIVAL
18th - 19th October 2025
STIMF is one of the hidden Magic conventions that doesn’t get the recognition it diserves. Over the Years it has played host to Paul Daniels, Juan Tamariz, Danny Daortiz, Charlie Fry, Shoot Ogowa, Romany, and many many more. For this event to happen right in the heart of the North East, we are so lucky for it’s locality, but also it’s value.
What is STIMF?
STIMF stands for South Tyneside International Magic Festival and it is exactly that a Festival. For many years I believed it was just a few magic shows on an evening, but it is a full multiday convention.
There are 2 main parts of the Festival. The Convention which is made up of lectures through out the days and the Gala Shows. The Gala shows are open to the public and give a fantastic opportunity to see world class magical talent. The convention is for conventioneers that have an interest in Magic and Illusion.
